Team of Soryan Kumar, Tiffany Ding, and Seiji Shaw chose the ICM problem on eliminating single use plastic. They received the Outstanding Winner designation for their work: this is one of only 18 such awards!

Results of the 2015 MCM and ICM:
Team of Martin C., Julia R., and Sorin V. chose the MCM problem to find an effective way to distribute funds of a philanthropic foundation interested in improving undergraduate education, and received an Honorable Mention (top 45%) for their work.
The team of Samuel C., Ekaterina K., and Zachary L. chose the MCM problem to devise an effective strategy for maintaining the temperature in a hot bathtub while minimizing the overall use of water. They also received an Honorable Mention (top 45%) for their work.
The team of Julia G., Geoffrey K., and Clayton S. worked on the ICM problem to find a strategy to improve access to clean, fresh water in a region confronted by a water crisis. They received the Outstanding Winner designation for their work: this is one of only 5 such awards out of 3209 teams that chose to approach this problem. Report
