-Dr. Zayernouri aims to establish the "Fractional Mathematics for Anomalous Transport and Hydromechanics Lab" (FMATH Lab) in CMSE joint with the department of mechanical engineering at MSU. The overarching theme of research at FMATH Lab is to bring to bear leading edge modeling and computational tools from applied mathematics to multi-fidelity simulation of complex physical systems, ranging from solid-to-fluid mechanics. At FMATH Lab, Dr. Zayernouri conducts fundamental and innovative research in the following areas:
