Fall 2006 I will be teaching AM 33. The web page for this course is now located on (new) WEBCT, where you can login as a guest if you are not registered.
My research interests include flow and transport in porous media, dispersion theories, and multiscale modeling. The mathematical tools I currently use include statistical mechanical formulations, hybrid mixture theory (continuum mechanics), micromorphic fluids, and stochastic differential models and simulations. I also work with data from particle tracking fluid mechanics experiments to investigate anomalous disperision.
