Welcome

I'm currently a Ph.D. student in Applied Math at Brown University, working with Prof. Stuart Geman. Before coming to Brown, I got my bachelor degrees from Peking University.

Research

My main research interests are in statistics and probability, and their applications in a wide range of areas, like artificial intelligence (in particular computer vision), computational biology (in particular the RNA folding problem), etc..

I also worked closely with Prof. Joachim Buhmann from ETH Zurich on information-theoretic model selection approaches.
