Topics include: introduction to differential equations, emphasizing qualitative behavior; introduction to probability and statistics, emphasizing hypothesis testing and modern nonparametric methods. Examples from biology, psychology, and linguistics. Prerequisites: MA 10 or equivalent. Textbook: There is no textbook for this class.
