So your that bored that you want to know more about me? Well, you asked for it...I am now a one year veteran of the brown grad program in applied math, meaning that I am starting my second year of grad school in the fall of 2007. It's been a great learning experience during these past two semesters. The great thing about this program is that you really get to be engulfed in mathematics. This might not seem to be a great thing, and I assure you that there are A LOT of tough times, but you do leave with knowing a hell of a lot more mathematics.
In my first year here I took both semesters of Analysis, Probability and Numerics. I plan on taking more probability and numerics courses in the upcoming year, which is probably where I'm heading in terms of research.
( I am originally from Princeton Junction, New Jersey. I went to NYU for my undergraduate degree in mathematics. This past summer I did work for Sandia National Labs. Now I am here at Brown, where I just obtained my Sc.M. in Applied Math! Hopefully, in another four years I will get my Ph.D.
