About me
I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Geological Sciences department at Brown University. My research focuses on numerical models for the formation and segregation of channels of melt at mid-ocean ridges. This is an extension of a project I worked on for my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (my thesis can be found here).
Research
My research interests are broadly encapsulated in the mathematical modeling of applications that require the numerical solution to partial differential equations. I am experienced in using high-order methods including the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method and spectral methods.
Code
MatLab code for magma dynamics stability analysis can be found here. These routines are built from the framework provided in Hesthaven and Warburton.

Me, on a geology field trip, at the top of a mountain in Trinity National Forest with Mt. Shasta in the background. Just a normal day at the office for the geologists, I'm told.
