Title: The Nonlinear Schrodinger limit of some  Zakharov type  systems.


Abstract : The Klein-Gordon-Zakharov system describes the interaction between  Langmuir waves and ion sound waves in plasmas. In this talk we will discuss the high frequency and subsonic limit of the Klein-Gordon-Zakharov system for very general initial data. At the limit we get a  Nonlinear Schrodinger system. This work is in collaboration with Kenji Nakanishi.
