The Lefschetz Center Conference
on Partial Differential Equations
and Fluids
Apr 20 - Apr 23, 2006
The purpose of this conference is to bring together leading experts in the analysis of
partial differential equations arising in fluid mechanics. A broad range of topics will be
covered including compressible, incompressible and transonic flows, kinetic theory, stability
of flows, turbulence, and vortex sheets. The meeting will be held in conjunction with three
distinguished lectures by L. C. Evans (Berkeley) in the department of Mathematics.
