LIBRARY FACILITIES
The Brown University Library contains more than four million items. Its science collections are housed in a distinctive high-rise building located only a few minutes walk from the Division. Its holdings in the mathematical sciences are extensive. It is particularly noted for its unusually complete coverage of the East European literature. A computer-based catalog which is accessible from personal computers is a recent addition. Students and faculty also have access to all the libraries which are members of the Research Libraries Group, which covers the major academic libraries in the United States.
